Just seen your post on Bill Tarkulich's site. Is there some doubt that Szentgyorgy, HU is now Svaty Jur, Slovak Republic? I am pretty sure that somewhere along the line I have given you the http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 click on Pozsony megye to locate Szentgyorgy and then use http://mapy.atlas.sk to locate Svaty Jur. It should not be a doubt as you have put the old Pozsony map aka location of Szentgyorgy in your site. The city of Bratislava on the old Lazarus map is as Pozsony. SVATY JUR went by following names : S[anc]tus Georgius, Sz[ent]-Gyorgy, S[ank]t-Georgen, Sw[aty]Jur, S[ankt]-Georgen, Szent-Gyorgy, Swaty Jirich, Sw[aty] Gyur, Fanum S[ancti]Georgii, Sanct[us]Georgius, Fanum Sancti Georgii, Sanct-Georgen, Swaty Jur, Swaty Djur, Svaty Jur, Jur pri Bratislave and from 1990 - Svaty Jur. www.svatyjur.sk | ||
