I am looking for anyone that would know my father Istvan Sipeki. He was born in 1929 on December 26th. I know hw had a daughter in Hungary by the name of Piriska, I think she may have two sons. I also THINK he may have left Hungary around 1956 when he Landed in Hamilton Ontario Canada. He met and married my Mother Ruth in the early part of the 60s. They had five children together. My father passed away in July of 1996, I have never had contact with any relatives from hungary, he did speak of his daughter and her children but never giving us much information about them. I have two passport books of my fathers but I do not speak any hungarian so It is very hard for me to interpret it. I also THINK my fathers first wifes name was Piroska Kovacs? I am not sure if that was her name, It was a name in his passport book. I will try my best to type out what it says.. Hazastarsa neve..Kovacs Piroska. I am not sure what that means? I have another small book of his , It is red and says MAGYAR ONKENTES HONVEDELMI SZOVETSEG? Again I am not sure what that means nor can I understand anything written in it. The one bad thing is he never taught us to speak Hungarian. If you have any information on him or his family please email me at tmcfarlane -a-t- cogeco.ca -d-o-t- I am only kooking to find out who he was as a young man, I never really had a bond with him and I feel like I have missed out on what I should have known, He was a very interverted man who didnt spend much time with us kids, and did not talk much about his past.
