Vannak Vetésy őseim, ezért gyűjtöm a csaladra vonatkozó adatokat, főleg a XVII. század előttieket.
A család lerégibb ismert őse Józsa a Kaplony nemzetségből, élt 1150-1180. Fia András ispán meghalt 1219 előtt.
