I attached a historical map of "Hegyalja" - the field of Tokaj vine, with its own history - on which is Kolbása appears as Kolbasz (in the part M1, south from Kozma and north from Villy)and a photo about the steeple of its church. You can see this is a greek-catholic village. Last summer I visited this village in Slovakia near to the Hungarian border (I am a hungarian) because some ancestors of my father-in-law came from that village. I ask you is any Matyas (called hungarian Mátyás)in your grandmother's family. There are some thombs of Mátyás's in the cemetery. Best regards: Attila Csiki | ||
