Gava is short for Gavavencsello. It is close to the Carpathian mountains. It was the first town settled in Hungary by the Huns when the Romans gave them the land so they would stop fighting...It was over four hours to get there from Budapest !!! That is where my father was born. His last name is Knapp he was a doctor and met my grandmother in the hospital.. she was a nurse there
