Roberd: Re: Any information about Bojsza or Boysza surnames30/12/2004, 18:04:54
Hallo,
I am from the Kaszó family and I have a strange connection to the name Bojsza.
In Somogy komitat there is a place founded by ancesters called Bojsza-Tó. It is now named Balata-Tó, in the settlement Kaszó where in the 18-th to the beginning of the 20-th century there was a covert meeting- and conspiracy place for Kossuth's allies like the count's Fórgach and Széchényi and Győrgy Festetics (the latter family being only partly real Hungarians, like Győrgy).
The name Kaszó was added to the family name of family's whom participated in the political "Tengerpárti".
But where Bojsza come's in the story I would like to know.

Greeting's from a Hungarian in Hágá, Holland.
Roberd
