I don't think my last reply went through.
My relatives begin after those from Abaj. I am 100% confident that my family comes from Hungary. They spoke Hungarian. My mother was taught how to count to ten in Hungarian by her mother. As far as Ungvar goes I am not sure. I don't see where the letter "G" in Ungvar is in any of the words. One of the words reads "Unmisgya" or something like that, of course. I just finished filling out all the paper work to request the natuaralizaion records of my great-grandfather. Hopefully the INS will be able to find the records and it will list the village he came from.
I did see the Kazari listed in EI and I am somewhat convinced this is my great-grandmother. I am still trying to confirm this.
