| Marcelo,
I have a "Missing" Anton Rozboril, born about, 1887, in Gbely, Nitria area of Ausrtia-Hungary, later to be known as Czechoslovakia, and later, Slovakia. This Anton, would be the younger brother of my Grandmother, Sophia. He arrived in the U.S. on 27 April 1904, age 17, via Ellis Island, NY, NY. Departure from Bremen, Germany, aboard the ship: Barbarossa. The ship's manifest indicates his destination as his father, Anton Rozboril at 82 Corwin Street in Cleveland, Ohio. He seems to be travelling with a cousin, Suza Hizsa. His Father, Anton, born about 1846, died in Cleveland, OH 29 January 1917, and is buried at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, in Cleveland, OH. I can find no further information on this "younger" Anton, and I am wondering if YOUR Antal/Antonio may be my Grandmother's brother. There were 6 known children of the elder Anton and his wife, Elizabeth Knotek Rozboril, inc. Anton, bca 1887. He is the only one unaccounted for. Ellis Island Records do not tell us if someone LEAVES the U.S. after their arrival. Do you know the approximate date of birth for YOUR Antal/Antonio? I can only hope this is my Grandma's brother. I would like to know that He made a happy life for himself. God Bless. | ||
