| I am interested in the history of the Gajzago name. My understanding is that the Gajzago's moved to Transylvania around the late 17th - early 18th Century.The theory is that they moved from Armenia across the Black Sea. However this is not an Armenian name and I suspect it may be Jewish in origin.from my reading there seemed to be a mass immigration into Transylvania around this period. My father Gajzago Elemer never found out the exact truth.Why was there a mass migration from Armenia around this period? | ||
