| Cristina, I am hopeful that you could assist me. My Great grandfather, Andreas Steuer was from Deutsch Stamora, a village near Moravita. As a young boy,age 5, he traveled with his family to Philadelphia, USA in 1903. His father was Johan Steuer and his mother Catharina (Meszaros) Steuer.
I am hopeful that you can tell me a little information about Deutsch Stamora and if the local church could help with a copy of the baptismal record for Andrea or the marriage record for Johan and Catherina. I suspect that Johan was born in the late 1860's and Catharina in the 1870's. Any information would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance for your kindness Jim | ||
