For many years I have researched the Papai surname. My great grandfather Lajos Papai came to America in the early 1900's and eventually settled in Uniontown, PA. He is buried there. When he came over from Hungary, he brought his four daughters. Anna (my grandmother) Margaret, Ethel and Rose. All I have had to go on at this point was on my grandmothers death record, it shows her place of birth as Mandok, Hungary. Her mother's maiden name is Takacs.
