My ancestors were from Kolbach/Studenec, near Szepesvaralja in what is today Slovakia. The family name on the male line was Antolik. There is a family tradition about a connection with nobility, and my mother before she died made a family tree with notes suggesting some connection with a 'Count Kubini'. If anyone has information about the Kubinyi family's presence (or otherwise) in this area, I'd be interested to hear from you!
