I am researching my grandfather. He was born in Balassagyarmat circa 1880, son of a schoolteacher, being one of 13 children. He emigrated to Berlin around the turn of the century. He married Frida Hirsch about the same time. They had three sons, Harold, Erwin & Martin. They were forced to leave Berlin around 1934/5 and emigrated to South Africa. Only two of his brothers survived the holocaust, one going to Paris and the second ( Charles ) going to New York. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Maurice Brett
