Bill Herman: Re: Kolut04/10/2005, 22:55:59
Thomas My grandparents Rudolph and Maria HERMAN came from Kolut in 1907 to Dodge County Wisconsin. They left their daughter Barbara there when they came to the US. She married a man by the name of Jakob HEIM, they had two children Michael and Marianne. They moved to Ingolstadt, Germany but I don't know when. I'm guessing they moved in the fall of 1944 before the Russians came to Kolut, but I don't know for sure. I had an aunt and uncle that visited Jakob and Barbara in Ingolstadt in the 1980's. About 6 month's ago I contacted a 3rd cousin and she said all the HEIM's are dead except Michael's daughter. Where did you purchase your three books about Kolut? I have Kolut Band 2 but i would like to purchase the other two.

Bill
