| I don't know when the Pilecki's arrived in Gwoznica. The Church records go back to 1784. They are already there in 1784. I don't have any idea where they came from or where to look for earlier records. Francis and Jan are the two oldest. There is also Kazimierz, but he appears to have had only daughters or else did not remain there. All were born in the 1730s. I believe they were brothers. The grandson of Francis (also called Francis) fought in the 1812 war because he is called "soldier" in the record. That is all I have been able to discover so far. Where else can I search for them? | ||
