Andrea
That is some "fancy" (mis)spelling of your ancestor's surname which I am still trying to pronounced to come up with a correct name. Why a surname ending in T (Sajat) when the "americanized" version ends with a K? All the SAJATs and SAJATOVICs that came thru Ellis Island seems to be from former Yugoslavia.
SAJATOVIC and MIKULAS does show up in Croatia's phone book.
As you know S^AJAT lists in Slovak Republic but in very small numbers. www.zoznamst.sk
