It's great to hear from you. Thanks for replying to my post. Since I've started this search I've gotten some good information from a bunch of people. It seems that the Rakaczki name is Polish...not Ukranian. There is a strong connection between Tot and our name. What I am really curious about is why the Rakaczki clan/family left Poland? And I'm certian now...that they traveled as a large group to Borsod...and settled there. Almost all Rakaczki's are originally from Borsod. What is really interesting is that there does not seem to be any Rakaczki's left and/or living in Poland. They all left. And that stricks me as unusuaul. If you don't mind I have a few questions- Do you have an idea as to why the Rakaczki's came to Magyarorszag? Are you Greek Catholic? How old are you? What was your grandfather's name? Do you have any relatives from Muscony or Szuhakallo- close to Edeleny? Thanks for all your help. All of my best wishes.
Andrew M. Rakaczki
