Antal Galgoczi: Re: A Galgóczy család története03/04/2006, 21:00:17
Dear Nadine,

I’ve got a new message from Mrs. Karoly. This is the translation:

„Dear Antal,
I have found the missing children, who emigrated to America, of István Galgóczi (1842-?) and Rozália Horváth in the register at Koroncó. Besides the seven children I have listed on table seven, he had six more children, three of which died in their childhood. Bálint was born at Koroncó on Februrary 11th 1887; his parents lived on the Croatian plot. For the time being, I do not know anything else about him. Aladár was born at Koroncó, on October 2nd 1879; his parents lived on the Croatian plot. His mother was Rozália Horváth (Czankó); he married on May 11th 1902, his religion was Roman Catholic. His father lived at Rábapatona at the time. His wife was Anna Sárközi, of Roman Catholic religion, born at Gyirmót on May 2nd 1876. Her father was József Sárközi, a smallholder and day-labourer; her mother was Anna Pingiczer; they lived at Gyirmót. Their children were: Aladár, born on September 30th 1903, died when he was six days old due to innate weakness; and József, died at the age of three months on April 28th 1905. The father is in North America. If I have the luck and the time, I check him amongst the emigrants, provided the documents at the sub-prefect’s office have not been sorted out."

Best regards,
Antal Galgoczi
