I have some information on the Ungary part of the Ferbert family. Unfortunately I did not find the name of your father. If you can find the name of your grandfather I might be able to connect you to some Ungary Ferberts. My own family comes from Germany (south West). Some 300 years ago people from Germany went to Ungary ("Donauschwaben"). I still suppose that I am related to the Ferberts in Ungary but I could not yet find the link.
