I now know that my grandfather was born in Khust. I also found a passenger list with his name on it. The ship was the SS Skaugum. Aleksander PERCSI 1133 Departure Port: Naples Departure Date: 31 August 1949 Arrival Port: Sydney - Australia Arrival Date: 28 September 1949 The passengers of this ship were World War 2 refugees or displaced persons from European countries. | ||
