I see you have been in contact with my cousin, Anne Sprentz. I wrote the first message in the Radix forum, back in 2003. I noticed that there are 2 Toths that lived in Sarospatak at the same time as 2 Sprencz' lived there (1891?). You questioned the spelling of Sprencz; in the Hungarian papers, our family name was spelled "Sprencz;" in the Slovak/Carpatho-Rus' (Ruthenian) spelling that our family used, it was spelled "Princz." But, when I look up both seperately in Radix, I get 2 different databases! Who knows....
