the village of Wielka Lipnica (Polish), Velka Lipnica (Slovak) and Felso Lipnicza in Hungarian was for a short time in former Czechoslovakia's border. KUPCSIK would be KUPC'IK in Slovak and it does show up in SK over the border from Lipnica Wielka in Trstena. www.zoznamst.sk Take a look in Ellis Island website: www.ellisislandrecords.org there were some KUPCSIKs from Also and Felso Lipnicza.
