How sure are you that your ancestor's surname was BRUNDA? I find an Anna DZIUNDA arriving in 1909 thru Ellis Island www.ellisislandrecords.org from Kotelep, left a father Miklos DZIUNDA in Kotelep and going to a brother Wasili DZIUNDA living in Pasaic, NJ. Might this be your ancestor? I find no BRUNDA, BRUNDOVA (female) or DZIUNDA in Slovak Republic's phone book www.zoznamst.sk but the Kruzlov's phone book is listing DZ^UNDOVA (female). I want to say that your ancestor, if this is your ancestor, was Ruthenian. Arriving in 1909 a Johann, Anna and Marcsa DZUNDA from Gerlach (Gerlachov, Saris)which is only 2 km from Kruzlov. www.tccweb.org www.c-rs.org http://en.wikipedia.org A map of Hungary: http://users.erols.com/mwhite28/austhung.htm | ||
