Őseim kétféleképpen írták nevüket, "Pesty" és "Pesthy".
Temesvárról származnak. Később Budapesten éltek. Történész dédapám Pesty Frigyes. Pesty Frigyes menye gr. Ráday Zsuzsanna, aki nagymamám. Ráday Pál késői leszármazottja.
