do you have more information about the Kanyo family? Nograd is the name of a county of Hungary NE from Budapest.
My aunt wrote you previously, she has figured out there are many branches of the Kanyo family. Her grand-grand-grandfather moved from Nograd to Hermanszeg,in Szabolcs-Szatmar county his name was Ferenc Kanyo, he married to Maria Nyiri . Among there children was Jozsef Kanyo (born: April 12, 1844 in Hermanszeg), my aunts grand-grandfather. He married to Eszter Dioszegi, their son was Jozsef Kanyo Jr.(born: Oct. 21, 1875 in Okorito-Fulpos) who married to Emilia Vass. they lived in Okorito-Fulpos.
She has not found any Terez Kanyo yet, though she's gonna continue her researches during the summer. She's gonna travel to see some original documents, because she doesn't even know how many children or siblings had Jozsef Kanyo. She has found some cousins of her, and tries to get to know them probably they have other infos. Did your Kanyo side moved to Australia?
