Felsohalas is another name for Felsoribnyicze, now Vysna Rybnica. This place was in the Szobranczi jaras or district but is actually about 8 kilometers north of the town of Szobrancz.

Have you checked JewishGen's All Hungary Data Base? You migh t find Aron in the 1848 Census.
