PETER AMENT JR. was born 09 Feb 1905 and died Jun 1982 and lived in Rochelle Park, Bergen, New Jersey, USA. It looks like maybe he married Mary b. abt 1908. She died either 1983 or 1998(?)........ In the 1930 census, his father Peter AMENT b. about abt 1875 as it would appear m. Anna H and also lived in Bergen, NJ. I don't know what happened to Janos AMENT b. abt 1877, or if he had a middle name. He did go to Throop, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and it looks like he applied for naturalization in 1938. He likely changed the spelling of his first name to "John". I don't know if he stayed in Pennsylvania or moved to NJ to be near his relatives, or went back to Hungary? I hope this helps.
