Hello Imre,
Well it sounds like it is the same family. Many people came to the states for work and sent there money back home. Some of them returned to the country where they were born.
Its hard to say what happened to Janos AMENT. He could have died and his wife "Anna" returned to the old country or possibly they divorced. Possibly his citizenship was denied for what ever reason. I have no idea but maybe you should find his naturalization papers.
As you must have seen by now, Mihaly (Michael) HORVATH also came to the USA and returned to his homeland at some point, as you stated he died in Csatka.
I am also descendant of the HORVATH family, but they were living in Croatia on the Danube in the early 1800's. HORVATH is a very common name.........meaning...... "Croatian".
Best regards
Kurt
