| I show 2 Papa's in Hungary in my gazetteer:
1. Papa in Somogy/Csurgo (listed with Csurgo) 2. Papa in Vesprem, with with Catholics, Lutherans, Reformed Protestants, and Jews that attended church in Papa. This isn't the best gazetteer, but this second town looks like a pretty big city, with about 15000 residents in 1877. Have you found any records within Hungary for your family? Send me her maiden name and date of birth (as specific as you've got) and I can check the records at the LDS family history Library in Salt Lake for you, just to determine which of these cities it is. | ||
