I'm afraid because I do not speak Hungarian I am not sure of any place names, I have a marriage certificate but it is in Hungarian. My Fathers name was Szollossy and his parents lived in Budapest (Matyasfold) from 1919. There is a stamp on the paper but I think it is a church stamp. It says:- ROMAI KATOLIKUS PLEBANIA PECSETJE SZOLNOK OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Someone in the family was a surgeon who worked as an assistant to (Semmelwise Ignaz)so I do not know if that is on Nagy side or Szollossy side of the family. I also believe there was a tobacco farm also in the family. It is endless. Still many thanks for replying to my message. Kind Regards Anne | ||
