| My grandfather was BORBIRO (Vojnics) Ferenc, mayor of Baja from 1915 to 1937. He was born in Szabadka in 187; at that time his full name was VOJNICS Zelics Ferenc Jozsef; died in Ligonier, Pennsylvania USA in 1962. He changed his name to BORBIRO Ferenc in 1931. His biography was published in Baja in 2007 (A varos keresi multjat).
His father was VOJNICS Zelics Felix Maximilian, born in Szabadka in 1852 and died in Szabadka in 1895. I have no picture of him; the picture shown may well be his. | ||
