SAFFA and SAFAR in area code/UTO 056 which would include Bezovce but none in Bezovce's phone book.

I find Olga, Bela, Paula, and Bela SAFFA arriving thru EI in 1914 from Ordama. Paula, Olga and Bela were naturalized citizens. I am sure you noted the set of numbers by their names. They left a Janos(ne) Mrs. Janos SAFFA in Ordama, Hungary. No Ordama in "old" Hungary and there were 19 people from Ordama thru EI www.stevemorse.org Need to look on the manifests for a clue as to the (mis)spelling.
Ordarma, Ung megye, Hungary now Tarnivtsi (Storozhnytsi), Ukraine. 146 people from Ordarma thru Ellis Island. You are aware that it is possible that it was YOUR ancestor who changed the spelling of his surname when he was naturalized citizen.
