I am researching my Kristofek ancestors. George and Katarina Kristofek arrived in New York with 2 young children on June 8, 1888. They purchased a farm in Westmoreland County, PA in 1894 and had 6 children. - John stayed on the family farm, married Annie Swets and raised 12 children, - George, my great grandfather, moved his young family to Chicago in about 1906, - Joseph must have died as a young child, - Mary married Joseph (Wassily) Shaffern and they had 7 children. Joseph died in the early 1920s and Mary moved to Chicago with her children, - Anna married Frank Kolish and they had 5 children. Frank died in 1925 and Anna moved her family to Cleveland, Zophia (Sophie) married Walter Konjura and had 7 children. They all moved to Cleveland in the early 1920s.
