AWK - My parents and your grandparents were friends and possibly very distantly related. When I was a child, growing up in CT, we periodically visited your grandparents, who lived in Morningside Heights, and they came out to see us too. Your grandparents were both interior architects/designers, who I think guided my parents in some house remodeling and modernization efforts. When I was a young editor living in NYC, I once spent a night at your parents' house in Stockbridge (right?), after my old car broke down when I was on my way to Stowe, VT. I am not sure why we didn't stay in touch after that -- and I am also not sure what prompted me to look your grandfather, Ernest, up on Google this evening.
