Dear Jim,

In my letter I wrote about my research work on the Fegyverneky family. There were two Fegyverneki families in Kesznyéten (today a small village about 7 kilometres to Tiszaújváros).

At the moment one member is known from one of the Fegyvernekis, and he is Fegyverneki Kálmán. He was single and as I heared died without children.

The other Fegyverneki family was bigger. The point is there was a Piroska Fegyverneki from Sajóhídvég. You wrote in your response that your origins can be also connected to Sajóhídvég, which is not far away from Kesznyéten. Piroska got married in Kesznyéten to Dezső Fegyverneki from Kesznyéten. They had two children (Károly and Barnabás) and one of them moved to Devecser. It would be a great challange to find connection between you and Fegyverneki Piroska. I would say that I looks quite possible that they are your ancestors.

A gave some information about their place in Kesznyéten, where they had their household etc. I wrote about a tomb too in the end of the cemetery of Kesznyéten. Probably on this week I can make some photo about the tomb.

Is there any connection with the Ellisisland memebers I sent? There is a Fegyvernek Imre in the list! But the residence doesn’t wanna fit. That should be Sajóhídvég…

Balázs
