Abranyi Aurel is my husband's uncle. He was the son of Abranyi Emil who was the Director of The Hungarian Opera House and composer of many well known operas.He was living with my husband and his family in Sasad which is a suburb of Budapest. He escaped from Hungary in 1952 and worked for The Voice of Free Europe in Vienna but was kidnapped by The Hungarian Secret Police called AVO. He was taken back to Hungary and that was the last time he was heard of. We hope this will be of some help.
