| Zlatica : Re: surname | You will need to locate a name of a town for your ancestor in order to proceed with the research.
The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) have filmed the church records but you need a name of a town and religious orientation of your ancestor to order the films from which you can gather ancestral information.

The Ellis Island website is listing 9 ANDAHAZYs as passing thru that port to America. There are two Kalmans. One is a child. The Kalman and Maria Andahazy arriving in Dec.12, 1912 say they are Slovak from Szentandras, Lipto megye.
You might even take a look at a Kalman Ondahazy's manifest. The name could be transcribed wrong. He is from Okolicsno aka Okolicne which is in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovak Republic.
The village of Szentandras is now called Liptovsky Ondrej, Slovak Republic.
