Looking for any information on family member listed below. I am having a hard time trying to find what town he would be born in as records are all a mess.

Jozsef Balog [Joseph Baloga]
Birth: 21 November 1888
Death: 23 August 1970

Married: Anna Timkovick [sp?] abt 1915
Immigration: Nov 1904 - Ship: Inervia


Most of the documents I have show Austria / Hungary / Neviczke / Magyar ... I'm told various Balogas from Pennsylvania are from the Saris Region

Any help is appreciated.

TIMKOVICK most likely TIMKOVICS.

Joseph's and Anna's church marriage record should have a place of birth and parents names.
Have you located their arrival manifest?

What does your ancestor's SS-5Form say that he was born in?
His arrival manifest should have his place of birth or last residence.

The death certificate doesn't give much information at all.
When I sent in a request for a copy of the death certificate it was basically incomplete. It does list where he died but not where he was born. PLB [Place of Birth] was just AU, no city.

I am assuming that his father was the Mihaly listed along with him. Same information applies to what I listed prior.

Mihaly was listed as going to see his brother Jozsef in Sheffield, PA and Jozsef was listed as going to see his Uncle at the same location.

I do not have a marriage certificate located yet. I have a wedding picture and based on the Census' that I found and the age given that he was first married to Anna, it would have been around 1915.

Do you have Anna TIMKOVICK [sp?] arrival manifest?
Did she also come thru Boston on a ship Ivernia?

Her manifest should have her place of birth.
