Katja: Begedy
Hello everybody! I'm looking for "Bikács", the place where my greatgreatgrandfather Begedi Péter (*1838 Homokszentgyörgy) married his second wife in 1871. Bikács in Tolna proved to be wrong. As the family had been living in Bihar before, it might be "Mezöbikács" which I found on the 1910 map. Does anybody happen to know what the place is called today? That would be great. And I'd be equally grateful for any information on the Begedy (Begedi), Etédi and Lovasi-Szakál(l) families in Bihar, Somogy or elsewhere. Thank you!
