N

You need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.
It seems that there was a Bernard BINDERER that came thru Ellis Island to America. You might want to take a look at the manifest.

A map of Austria-Hungary :

Germany's phone book www.dastelefonbuch.de is listing some Binderers.

Nick: Re: Binderer
Hello,
Alfred Binderer where are you writing from, which country? My grandfather (by now 97 years old) is from Chernovitz which used to belong to the Austrian Hungarian state back in the days. Nowadays it belongs to Ukraine.
Any ties in Europe? I assume some of our family members might have migrated to the US at some point. Please tell me more.
