rbobor: bobor genealogy
My grandparents were born in what was then called Palast in Hungary. After the First world war the borders were redefined. The village became part of Czechoslovakia, and is now known as Plastovce (Slovakia). My grandfather's name was Emerich Bobor, and he was born November 4, 1900. He has several living descendents here in Canada and I am sure, existing relatives in Slovakia and Hungary. His parents names were (I believe) Vince and Rosalia, but unfortunately I do not have much other information. --- rbobor

rbobor: Re: bobor genealogy
to: Zlatica---Thank you very much. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away over 25 years ago, but I have an uncle who was born there (he, his sister, and my grandmother joined my grandfather here in 1937 or 1938). If I can piece together any further information, either through him or using the sources you list, I will add updates. Thanking you again, rbobor
