| jlbbachman: Brezina | Antoni (Anthony) Brezina was my Great Grandfather. He immigrated to the United States in February of 1903, age of 23. He arrived in Coplay, Pennsylvania; later moved to Saint Clair, Pennsylvania. In 1905,he sent for his (wife) Yustina (Justina) Jaros (Yaros) and two year old daughter Rosa (Rosa, Regina). He was born on the 5th of May 1880-81. May have been from Zdenci, Hercogovia, or Bohemia region of Austro-Hungary.
He fled the Astro-Hungarian Army, secondary to a leg injury.
In Europe, he traveled extensively with his Uncle working as a Blacksmith. His father was killed in a tree cutting accident. His mother later remarried a Frank Hamachek.
He had siblings: A sister who maybe Mary or Marie whom immigrated to South America by mistake. A brother Joseph, unknown location. And half or step siblings, one of whom was a Theresa married to Eugene Krupa. He passed away on 30 May 1959 in Trenton, New Jersey. At the time of his death he had, six sons. John, Joseph, Anthony, Frank (Fred), Stephen and William. He also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren!
