Have you posted on Ancestry and Genforum?

I find arriving NY Ellis Island
Brusko, Marton Anoldfalu 25 1879 1904 So I take it by the age this is not your Martin BRUSKO. Do you have his arrival manifest? It should have his place of birth.

Can of these Elizabeths be your ancestor?

phyllis pakan: Re: Martin Brusko
I don't know how far back you would be interested in, but my family is also from Myjava. My grandmother's mother's maiden name is Kristina Brusko. Her father was Jan Brusko. My grandmother came to the US in 1893, and so would be a generation older than your Martin. The church records for Myjava are now online at www.family search.org Location Europe. Slovakia church books. Myjava. Evangelical. Since 1870, look up by name. I hope you find your information. (Our family also married into the Cernak family.)
