| rciot: Hungary to Poland | | I need help to find out if my Great Grandmother's family was from Hungary and then went to Poland and then sent to Germany and to get back to Poland the name was changed. We know the name today as Buchalski or Buze. I wonder if Buchal was changed to Buchalski during German invasion during 1600's and when family wanted to go back to Poland the priest changed their name to Buchalski....later the family started using the name Buze. If anyone has done research and ran upon any of the three versions please post any helpful info. |
