His father was Samuel Bunna, his mother was Maria Gacsalyi.Mmy father Lajos was born here in the US but raised in Hungary. He came to the US in 1947. 	Richard: Re: üdv I am your second cousin, once removed. (I assume you are Karoly). We are related through the Gacsaly's. My great-grandmother, Ilona, was the twin sister of your grandmother, Maria. I have done extensive research on the family and traced the Gacsalyi's back to Tamás Gacsályi, born about 1718 in Fehérgyarmat. I also traced the surnames, Nyitrai and Kepes. I have a lot of information on the family that I would be glad to share with you. I talk to Johanna Bolash occasionally on the telephone. 	asouto: Re: üdv Maria was my great-grandmother, married to Samuel Bunna. One of their sons (Lajos) was my grandfather. Karoly was my uncle, my dad (Lajos) is his brother. I knew Esther Fintor when I was a little girl. I live in Petoskey, Michigan (I used to be in the Detroit area, which is where I grew up).
