I am looking for any relatives with this surname. I reside in Australia and my grandfather's name was Gyula Burnyoczky, married to Maria Gemeiner (b1905-1977). They had three sons, Gyula, Endre and Otto (Burnyoczki).

Hi,

I'm just starting to research the names Burnoczki, Ferenc (1874) and Burnoczky, Anna (1879) that appear on official documents of some of my Hungarian relatives. Perhaps these are misspellings of the Burnyoczki name?

Thank you for the information. It seems we are indeed related - second cousins to be exact. The Gyula Burnyoczky in your photo is my grandfather. His son Gyula was my father (he died in 1996). If you have more information including dates of birth, etc and location of where each of the family members ended up I'd love to put it together for my children. I can be contacted at farmweld at bigpond dot com or by visiting our business website at www.farmweld.com.au As an aside, my mother's sister was married to Otti Baci (Viki's mother) and she vaguely remembers Vera and one of the other sisters. If you are able to write in English it would be wonderful. My grasp of the Hungarian language is fairly limited.

Hi, my granfather was Burnyóczky Janos, he lived in Előszállás, he was married with my mum, Veronika.
