Theodor Emil Ulieriu: Cifra
Greetings! I am searching the family of one of my XIXth century Transylvanian ancestors, named CIFRA Szuszánna, who married Király Elek sometime around 1850 or shortly before: so probably she was born in the 1820s or 30s. Their children were Király Elek, Sándor and András. I think all the family was based in the Hargita, around Székelyudvarhely and Székelykeresztúr.

There is an old story in the family about the supposedly French origins of this Cifra (her father or grandfather being nichnamed "Cifra" because of his clothes). Maybe this would help.

Every hint will be very welcome. I understand very well Hungarian, you can write me in almost every language spoken in Transylvania.
