J. Kramer: Tscherwenka - Cherwenka

I am researching the name Cservenka, Hungarian, for my family which in Canada is now given as Cherwenka.
I am interested in the name meaning and if anyone knows were they came from before Sombor (Zombor) in 1891

Surname TSCHERWENKA most likely German spelling, CSERVENKA is Hungarian and C^ERVENKA Slavic spelling of the same surname.
In Czech language a month of June is called C^erven, a word c^erveny means red other than this, I am not sure what is the meaning of the surname.
The Slovak Republic's phone book is listing C^ERVENKA www.zoznamst.sk and so thus Czech Republic's. http://phone.quick.cz
Take a look in LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) website for the church films. For a small fee you can order them and gather ancestral information.

Looking for information on a Cservenka, who was married to Anna Cmar 4/27/1888 from Zamutov'. This Cservenka man had aDaughter Eva to his first wife.

I see two choices. Sending a letter to the C^ERVINKA in Zamutov and going thru the church records to find ancestral information.
We have been communicating on several boards and off the boards.

will start this letter by introducing myself: my name is Joop
Nieuwenhuis (70 years young) and one of my biggest hobbies is Genealogy.
I'm married to my wife Erika for almost 50 years now. She is born in
Vienna (Austria) and her grandmother, from fathers side of the family, was
Ursula Cservenka.
Ursula was born on the 18th of June in 1887 in a town called
Pusztafödémes. She was baptised in the Catholic church of Pusztafödémes on
the 19th of June 1887.
But that's where my problem begins. I have that information, but that's
the only information that I've got. I'm having trouble finding information
about Ursula's parents and I really need that information to get closer to
the core of our family tree. For this problem I would like to ask for your
help and cooperation.

Ursula's parents were called Mihály Cservenka and Anastasia Kovacsics. Do
you maybe have more information in your archive about the parents of
Ursula Cservenka? And if so, would you maybe like to share that
information with me? I'm thinking about the following questions I would
like to get an answer to:

1. When and where is Mihály Cservenka born and who were his parents?
2. When and where is Anastasia Kovacsics born and who were her parents?
3. When and where did Mihály Cservenka and Anastasia Kovacsics get
married?
