monica chemay: chemay/csizmadi
my grand father frank chemay's father (frank?)scizmadi came over from hungary around the turn of the century sometime and first moved to chicago them to hungarian settlement, which is now Albany, Louisianna. My grand father and his two brothers were musicians, but they decended from a long line of cabnetmakers, and im guessing that this listing is describing a similar occupation, because I know that my great grand father was from the city Cegled. If any one knows any more details or has any other csizmadi's or chemay's in their relations I would love to hear from you thanks monica

The town of Czegled/Cegled is in Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun megye of Hungary.

Elnezest csak most akadtam erre az oldalra. Csizmadi Laszlo vagyok. Az apamat Csizmadi Sandornak hivtak es Cegledrol valo volt.

csizmadi-buzás
Az én dédapám is Csizmadi Sándor volt, Cegléden élt és halt, az 1800-as évek vége felé született, de neki fia nem született, csak 3 lánya, Hermina, Gizella, és Irén. Felesége Buzás Hermina volt.
Nem tudom, voltak-e testvérei egyáltalán Csizmadi Sándornak. Nem ismerős valakinek?

Laszlo: Csizmadi
Az en apam Cegleden szuletett 1920-ban. A masodik vilaghaboru korul koltozott Budapestre es ott elt halalaig. Sajnos nem tudom hogy volt e testvere mert egeszen kicsi voltam kb 3 eves amikor elvaltak a szuleim. Negyen vagyunk testverek es O volt az apank de a valas miatt a kapcsolat teljesen megszakadt. Ugy tudom valamikor a 80-as evek elejen halt meg.
