sari csollany: origins of my father
I am looking for any information about my fathers family. My father is named Geza Csollany and he came to Australia in 1949/50, he was born in Pestsenterzsebet(that is what it says on my birth certificate, it might be Pestszterzsebet)on either December 31st 1926 or January 1st 1927(my father says his birth records says the later but he was really born on the former). His parents were Miklas Csollany and Borbala [Kohouth]?(not sure on exact spelling).Borbala's father was Vincent Kohouth who originated from Yuguslavia and was a butcher by profession(he also had red hair apparently). My father had an elder brother and sister who were also named Miklas and Borbala. I am sorry but that is the only information that I have, I am not even sure that Csollany is his correct name(he lost his passport during the crossing so he may have chosen to adopt another, I dont know). If any of this sounds similar to your family history eg you also have a great grandfather named Vincent k????? who was a red-headed butcher from Yuguslavia please contact my email address at darkmysticgypsy -a-t- hotmail -d-o-t- com thank you

Király Józsefné
Sajnos csak magyar nyelven tudnánk beszélni, nagyapám Csollány János uszálykormányos, rokonai még talán élnek Győrben.Azt hittem ebből a nagy családból többen jelentkeznek.Szívesen feleleveníteném a kapcsolatot a még élő
leszármazottakkal.Üdvözlettel Király Józsefné.
